In this role, you will
•Be responsible for Global Procurement of packaging materials such as corrugate, pressure sensitive labels, foil/film and other goods to sustain daily production and maintain inventory without interruption to plan
•Develop/maintain supplier relationships for competitive advantage while teaming with suppliers, product teams and internal/ external production to achieve best value
•Identify production sites that meet product team requirements for competency, regulatory attributes, location, and best value 

Essential Job Duties
•Support Strategic Sourcing Plans, including budget and price forecasts
•Negotiate and establish written Agreements in accordance with Sourcing Plans
•Prepare and evaluate proposals, bids, negotiations, etc.
•Monitor contractual obligations for compliance
•Develop solid knowledge of global feedstock markets, global suppliers, industries and technologies to proactively manage financial and supply risk
•Lead/support cost out initiatives
•Drive working capital improvements in payment term extensions, lead time reductions, and economic order / minimum order quantities (EOQs / MOQs)
•Develop cost models and understanding of cost structures by material/services
•Strong supplier development capabilities with manufacturers and suppliers for mutual goals and measures
•Understand forecasts and capacities for internal and external production to ensure resource and capacity availability
•Support New Product Development initiatives
•Provide excellent support and information to internal and external customers
•Align with R&D and Enterprise to link with suppliers for innovation and sustainability
•Coach and develop direct reports
•Resolve disputes with vendors

Education and Experience Required
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related fields - or - 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
•Experience with integrated purchasing/MRP information systems (preferably SAP)
•CPM or CPSM certification desired.
•Experience with six sigma and lean manufacturing desired.
•Corrugate, labels and packaging sourcing experience preferred

•Full time
•May Supervise other buyers
•Business hours Monday through Friday. Hours may extend based on workload.
•Up to 20% travel, including international travel.
